Back home in Muskoka my parent's house has a big back yard with a fire pit. One thing I really missed my first full summer in the city was spontaneous bonfires, complete with Dad playing country music and drinking beer with Peter while my Mum and I made s'mores. I found this recipe from on Pinterest via The Girl Who Ate Everything (such a great blog name) and gave it a try for a co-workers last day. The cinnamon adds a nice flavour that is reminiscent of the charred marshmallow taste.
I put way too much dough on the graham crackers, I'd add a teaspoon or less next time.
Mmm. Cookies.
